The use of teleworking for employees caring for a child, parent or loved one

Law n°2023-622 of July 19, 2023, published in Official Journal on July 20, and entry into force on July 21, 2023, modifies l Article L. 1222-9 of the Labor Code relating to teleworking.
As of July 21, 2023, the collective agreement or charter drawn up by the employer implementing teleworking must also specify “the terms of access for employees caring for a child, a parent or loved one to a teleworking organization.
Moreover, in the absence of a collective agreement or charter implementing teleworking, when the request is made by an employee caring for a child, a parent or a relative, the employer must give reasons for its decision in the event of refusal.
